& WIRE BODY ARMATURES
(SKELETONS for Standing Dolls)
Shown is DM115 Glenna Witch
Free standing dolls (no visible doll
stand) Sizes listed below are the DOLL height
the armature will make. The larger armatures have some
assembly needed. All you need is a screw driver and
wood glue. All of our doll parts list the size doll they will
fit. Shown is a 27" standing body (Glenna Witch) without a
base. These dolls will stand, but can be knocked over &
the round wooden base adds more stability. Place wood screws through the
base, boot heels & up into the wood leg ends.
The
VS112 would need a 15" to 18" round or square base. We do
not ship these right now as shipping would be expensive. Any woodworker or lumber yard can cut
these.
Some body armatures do not include the boots. Click the link to
choose the boots. The have the size doll listed they will fit.......click

For a 60" doll (5 FOOT) You can use real
shoes or boots. DM112 48" Standing Santa pattern has
full instructions to make this doll. Just measure your
finished armature, then enlarge the clothes patterns to fit.
This body armature has some assembly with just a screwdriver
and wood glue. Instructions included. This body is made of 1 x 12 pine
lumber. Use regular size bed pillows for his stomach
and wrap with strips of quilt batting to make a "mummy"
style body armature.
