bulletAbout our patterns:
All patterns are $7.50 each unless noted, OR 3 for $14.75.   They include full detailed instructions with lots of diagrams to create a really nice doll using professional doll makers simplified methods.  There are step by step photos included showing how to paint the heads (optional) and assemble the body armature.  Also included are how to cut out the clothes, sewing or gluing the clothes, wig or beard making, & decorating ideas.  Our packets do not include the "paper patterns" for cutting out the wood bodies or clothes.  However, the methods are so simple, you will not need the "paper clothes patterns".  A yardstick and marking pencil are all you will need.
Drawings and diagrams are included in the patterns to create a very simple method to making the clothes.  The wood & wire body armature instructions are includedThe "skeleton" measurements to make the wood and wire body armature patterns are included.  It is more cost efficient to purchase one of these to use as a pattern.  I know your wood maker would appreciate this.  If we included the "paper" patterns for these, the patterns would have to be more expensive.  All the dolls "stand" without visible support or doll stands.  Also, we show you how to make a soft sculpture doll body with very little "stuffing".  Oh, I hate to make a body skin & have to stuff it.  Mine are always lumpy.  So, I use this method of making a "mummy" & just stuff a little fiber fill to create a "stomach" or "behind".  I think you will enjoy these patterns as they are so much easier than the traditional doll making methods.
